Rug is in my bedroom and looks beautiful. Vacuums up nicely.I write this review as someone who has been an amazon prime member for over 17 years and who has purchased an unimaginable amount of stuff from amazon which I have largely been very satisfied with. I almost never post a negative review, but I have to warn every shopper who even considers these about what you are getting into.First of all the product description is incredibly misleading. It says that these are wool rugs and they are absolutely not! They are made of the worst kind of polypropylene. I received them wrapped in heavy plastic that took forever to open, only to realize how badly they smell. The toxic fumes from the rug triggered several asthma attacks.To make matters worse, I contacted Amazon customer service to return these rugs after discovering that I would have to pay for return shipping (even as a prime member). I cannot physically carry these to a drop off and I requested a carrier pick up. The seller insultingly responded with a generic message completely ignoring my request which was sent on my behalf by the customer service representative. Now I had to open an A to Z claim to get this resolved.Regardless of your ability to purchase rugs, do NOT buy these.1/4/2020 - I have never been so upset about a purchase as I am about this one. It would cost me as much to return these crappy rugs as I paid for them so it's not worth it to send them back for a refund. I am giving these crappy,junk rugs to an animal shelter to be cut up and placed in dog pens to give them a place to lay down that isn't concrete. That is all these rugs are good for. They are junk, junk, junk.The 'List Price' of $99 is a joke. The runner is thin, cheaply made, and would not sell for $99 at any retail store. It's been two weeks now and whole you can't see it well in the photo (but for the very end of the carpet) the carpet has never flattened out and the ends have curled. If you look closely at the photo, while the carpets are similar...the runner as displayed on Amazon is much more detailed/clear in the pattern whereas the rug runner in my photo is not.I'd bought this as a gift for my parents and am sorely disappointed. Unless the seller approves the return we are stuck with it as it looks like I would have to pay to return this.I'd like to add that I've bought two other area rugs (not from this seller) on Amazon and I was very happy with those purchases. I am definitely not happy with the cheap excuse for rug runners on the floor. These replaced a rug runner with a non-slip backing I'd bought from Walmart two years ago...and I only bought these to replace that because I wanted to get something for my parents that more closely matched their area rugs.In other words...I'd rather pay $20-ish for 3-6' runners with a non-slip backing that I KNOW aren't going to curl than ever buy the piece of junk rug currently on the floor.P.S. I'd like to add I am pretty certain I saw the word 'wool' when I placed my order. Since then, I see the description now states, "Made of high quality 100 percent heat-set soft pile yarns".Recently we purchased a new (to us) home in the mountains of north Georgia. It is a large log cabin with great wood interiors and stone fireplace. We decided to go for a more formal “Scottish hunting lodge” look rather than the traditional “rustic cabin”. This rug tied the living room together nicely.For the price the quality of the rug is exceptional. It’s thinner and a bit lighter than more expensive rugs we have but it works perfectly in the space and has room for a door to easily pass over it.The color was a bit muted from the picture but actually work better.This is a beautiful rug. I just wish it came 9x12’. Love the colors.I loved the color.I received my order this morning. I am SUPER happy! I would say its SO much better looking in person. I love the deep red claret color. I would say the grey in this rug is in my opinion, is not overbearing at all. I am very picky with things I buy and found the grey (which I was concerned with) more of a greenish color. This rug is an item that will last many many years and would be a good item to pass down. I think it's not even a remotely cheap looking item. For me and my taste it's a sophisticated casual no worry rug. BUY ITThis is an attractive rug. A good value when you keep in mind it is an alternative to very expensive area rug.Used double sided carpet tape to secure to carpet.I am only giving this rug 2 stars because although it is beautiful I was very disappointed with how it layed .I realized after reading institutions it would take awhile ,but after a month it is still buckeled on one side ! It was delivered wet on one end and that is probably the reason why . Wrote to sell and got no reply !!!
