Great obscure 60's sunshine pop. The best way to describe the sound of this band is a mix of The Mamas and Papas and the Association. The Eighth Day is one of those bands that should have made it but didn't. Excellent production and recording unfortunately won't help a bandthat is not promoted properly. The bands name "The Eighth Day" has been used by several other musical acts through the years. If you want more details on this band, Google "The Eighth Day Kapp". Kapp is the record label they recorded with. You can also google "Sons of Liberty" which is the name of the original member's band. This album has been impossible to find since it's release in 1967. Apparently, 60's pop is very popular in Japan and this is a Japanese CD with English and Japanese liner notes and lyrics. If you like the genre "60's sunshine pop", give this a listen. A bit of trivia.....Ron Dante (vocals for "The Archies") co-wrote most of the songs on this album and also did vocals on some of the songs. My favorite songs on the album....."Glory" and "Building With A Steeple"
