By comparison, imitation cast iron grates minimize the weight of the iron where it’s needed most delivering a counterfeit-casting that buckles under heat. Our grates are designed with long-term durability in mind equipping you with long-term performance. You’ll feel the difference of a Liberty Foundry grate right out of the box! Cast as a heavy-duty, curved basket style fireplace grate, our G1024-BX model measures 24” (front) x 20” (back) x 15” (depth) with a 2 ½” leg clearance. Providing versatility for homeowners, this model is also available with a 4” leg clearance for use with a log lighter, or for additionally needed floor clearance. Durably built, each grate weighs approximately 30 lbs. and requires some assembly. (Actual forged grate dimensions and weight may vary slightly.)
