For a Rainy Day by For a Rainy Day (2001) Audio CD | Relaxing Music for Stress Relief, Meditation & Cozy Indoor Days

A very rare CD, but worth every penny if you can find it! This was a collaborative effort featuring members of Opal, The Rain Parade, Dream Syndicate, The 3 O'Clock, and The Bangles. Collectively these bands constituted what has been referred to as LA's "Paisley Underground" movement. Of particular note are the covers of The Velvet Underground's "I'll Be Your Mirror," and Bob Dylan's "I'll Keep It With Mine" which featureSusanna Hoffs(The Bangles) on vocals and David Roback of The Rain Parade on guitar. These covers are "jaw dropping" good, and alone, worth the price of admission. Word is David Roback owns the master's to this album, and has no plans to ever re-issue this. What a shame.
